Office desk – The decoration of our cubicle, desk or small office is essential to raise our morale, alleviate our level of stress and, as a result, also increase our productivity and performance. There are many decorating techniques that we can apply in small spaces, so that your small work environment is comfortable, cozy and comfortable. We will start by making the most of the available space, considering the length, the width, and also the height of our work space. If you have a cubicle or a small office, you will need a lot of storage space to maintain order and cleanliness.
Instead of a common table or a computer table, choose a desk with many drawers. In this way you can keep well your papers and documents, as well as your everyday objects, without losing, misplacing or disorienting the place. On your office desk, place two stackable trays to put there the papers and documents, perhaps one with a label that says “to do” and another with a writing that says “facts”. This will allow you to sort your pending tasks, and evaluate the progress of your daily tasks at a glance. Also your pencils and pens should be contained in a pen, or at least in an old cup with decorative motifs of your choice.
The coat and the wallet are objects that tend to bother small office desk and cubicles. If possible, leave your coat on the coat rack of the rest room, or place a hook on the wall furthest from your work area (even perhaps in an almost inaccessible corner), to hang them there and not disturb you. Always remember to have some personal decorative object in sight (one or several, always small and tasteful), to feel more comfortable in your cubicle. However, do not overdo it. Filling your computer screen with photos and decals can make your work space look shabby, and it can give you the feeling of being saturated with tasks and stimuli.
